First Halibut trials

Kames Fishfarming Ltd hosted Ace Aquatec's first prototype designed to stun flat-fish. Scientists from Bristol University confirmed the equipment was humane and the host company was impressed by the performance of the prototype. The test completed a Link project managed by Silsoe Livestock Research Ltd.

   
         
   
 

May 2006.

Ace Aquatec launches the US2.

On the 16th May 2006 Ace Aquatec unvieled its new seal scarer at the Glasgow show. The Universal Scrammer Mk2 is functionally identical to its predessessor (AAUS) but incorporates several improvements to increase its reliability.

     
             
               
   

February 2006.

Ace Aquatec tests the HS2.

Following years of research Ace Aquatec tested its new stunner at Fjord Seafoods on the 16th February 2006. The system is designed to stun marine species using recycled brackish water. The trial successfully stun/killed one tonne of salmon on the company's harvest barge.
