The Stun Tube consists of two main parts: the entrance and the stun field. The entrance has been designed to allow fish rapid entry into the stun tube itself. They fall directly into
the stun field and are rendered unconscious immediately. The stun field is provided by a pair of electrodes embedded within the stun tube which is filled with re-circulating water from the pump The stun tube
also incorporates a pair of sensors which independently monitor the stun field to ensure correct stunning at all times. The length and diameter of the stun tube depends upon the size of the fish to be
stunned. In the case of Atlantic Salmon the HS2 is 12" in diameter and the length is nearly 3m.
