HS2 RUNT STUNNER:

Such is the versatility of the Ace Aquatec range our customers are asking for specific machines to do specific jobs. We recently installed an 8” HS2 to humanely kill salmon for Marine Harvest Norway on board their new harvesting vessel the MV Tarangua.

The specification included:

  • a very small footprint (3m by 1m),
  • the ability to work with a ship’s list of +/- 5 degrees
  • and to be completed and delivered within 4 months.

Not only did we achieve the written specification but we also included:

  • full operation from a remote location,
  • automatic self-levelling
  • a throughput of 5 Tonnes per hour of fish up to 5kg in weight.
