Aquatec unveiled the Harsh Environment
US2 at Aquaculture UK 2010 this week. Customers expressed
approval about this variant which is designed to protect
the US2 and attached batteries from extreme seas and weather.
The
surface electronics are double protected to IP67 allowing
significant water ingress without damage to the system.
Up to two 12V batteries can be stowed inside the unit's
stainless steel "diving bell" which allows them
to be fully immersed by waves while keeping the battery
connections and vents in air at all times.
Constructed
from stainless steel the Harsh Environment US2 is designed
for exceptional reliability and longevity.
